Here in Chico, I see lots of pickup truck drivers on their cell phones with some frequency. Perhaps it's "for business." Well regardless, the law stands. And for good reason. Driving quality for truck drivers on cell phones dramatically decreases - no signals, swerving, irrational speeds. I've seen it.
The idea behind this blog is not to present myself as angelic on the road, but rather to simply point out those who are not making efforts to follow new distracted driving laws. Sure, I find myself at fault for not signaling, speeding, and not fully stopping at Stop signs on occasion, but I'm making every effort to keep as much focus on the road as possible by not texting or talking on my phone while driving. You should too.
